I started a blog on typepad, but then my husband and son started theirs here, so I decided to join them. May as well make it a family affair! I will be blabbering on about my latest sewing projects and maybe even posting a photo or two. I really will try not to bore anyone to tears.
I got my first sewing machine this past Christmas, and there’s been no stopping me since. I did make a New Year’s resolution to do all my sewing with only found, recycled, or thrifted material. I have been scouring Craigslist daily, taking trips to the local Goodwill and Salvation Army, and hitting the garage sales once a month or so. My latest find was getting a pile of discontinued fabric sample books from a local upholstry shop.
