dsc04550.jpgI’m Joanna, a stay at home mom of two, and part-time Massage Therapist, and share a practice with a lovely Acupuncturist in Berkeley. I got a sewing machine a bit over a year ago and have been sewing like mad ever since. I use almost exclusively recycled and reclaimed fabrics and notions for all my projects. I like to make a bit of everything from bags to quilts to kids’ clothes. After lurking and finding incredible inspiration in a few dozen or so craft blogs for the last year, I finally decided to start one of my own. It’s a lovely community. Thanks for reading…

    Joanna,
I just received the wonderful scrap package you sent today. I especially love the hankie/napkins! I can’t wait to get creating. Thank you so much!

Hey Joanna! I just saw your name on the scrap swap over at JCASA and thought of you. I can’t find your email address anywhere – but I was wondering if you had a chance to put together the handmade Pay it Forward item we did a while back? Just thought I’d check…

I came over from Sewmamasew to read about your auction. I see that it’s just you donating items and thought I would share another online auction http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=6167643 hosted by Morgan Moore at http://morganmoore.typepad.com/ . Perhaps you could contact her to see how you could facilitate your auction on a larger scale. There are so many great people out there who I’m sure would donate items for your auction…perhaps you could do a call out on sewmamasew. Just an idea…

    Good luck.
    Kirsten
